A compact passive bin vent with standard carbon-steel construction is not equivalent to a stainless unit with fan, certified electrical components and custom controls.
Quantity also matters. Repeated units built to one drawing reduce engineering and setup cost, while a single retrofit with unusual flange dimensions can require more design and fabrication time.
